Reflect the Values of Nature
For the Outdoorsman Within.
Have you ever people-watched while sitting somewhere chaotic? Whether it be in a busy restaurant or on a balcony over a busy street. Everyone is always in a rush. People easily forget how great it is to slow down. Change scenario, there’s no one around. No flustered footsteps, no music, no cars, just trees and the grass beneath your feet. Let’s take a walk -- hear that? The sound of rustling leaves brought by a light breeze.
Have you ever taken a walk through nature and felt instantly at ease? Whether it be a forest, or the park down the road, the results were always the same. Nature has that effect -- to ground you back to reality, to bring you back to the present. Nature never has hidden motives, it’s always real, it’s always transparent.

Could you elaborate on your factory and sustainability practices?
Our shirts are manufactured at our partners in Portugal and Bosnia. Portugal is in the EU and has legal obligation to abide by certain labour laws when it comes to working hours, minimum wages, safety, overtime. The Bosnian factory is certified according to SA8000 that sets these standards. A certification body verifies the implementation of the standards on a regular basis.
(Our ) fabrics are made from organically grown materials such as organic cotton and organic linen. These materials are less harmful for the soils and farmers harvesting them as no pesticides and synthetic fertilizers are used. We recently started implementing recycled cotton in our collections because we think it is generally better to work with resources that are already here.
Wherever possible we reduce the amount of plastic for the production or packaging of the shirts. We use corozo buttons instead of polyester buttons and wooden collar stays for the shirts.
We work with partners that treat their employees fairly.
What is your stance on Sustainability?
Sustainability is one of the core values of our brand. We want to show that there are alternatives to the often inhumane and non-transparent working conditions and environmentally harmful practices in the apparel industry, and to re-raise awareness of the origin, history and quality of the clothing we wear every day, right on our skin. Our aim is to make a contribution to an economic system that respects people and the environment and offers future generations the same opportunities as we find today.
